The hair you want to keep

Maintaining volume, a narrower part, and finding less hair on your pillow are natural goals when you notice shedding. You simply want to preserve your own hair.

Thinning at the crown, receding temples, and sudden bald patches are different conditions. That is why our consultation starts with your health history, stress, childbirth, medications, and any family history of hair loss. Sudden patchy shedding, pain, or scalp inflammation require a clear medical assessment before any aesthetic procedure is considered.

First the cause, then the treatment

Book an appointment and bring a list of your medications, any recent lab results, and photographs of your hair from previous years. We only order tests when they actively change our treatment decisions. We examine your shedding pattern and the skin of your scalp. If necessary, the plan will include targeted lab tests, a trichoscopy, or a referral to a dermatologist.

For many patterns of thinning, consistent home treatment is foundational. Topical minoxidil helps stimulate growth and slows further shedding. We introduce other medications only after a thorough evaluation, as some have strict rules regarding pregnancy planning. We measure the response in months, typically between six and twelve, and the results last as long as you maintain the treatment.

PRP utilizes plasma from your own blood. We introduce it as an adjunct therapy for specific types of thinning, and it is most extensively studied for androgenetic alopecia. PRP is not appropriate for scalp infections, scarring alopecia, or temporary shedding. Regarding exosomes, we can discuss the current clinical evidence during your visit. The FDA has no approved exosome product; that is the American regulatory context, not a stamp for Serbia. When tracking the response to any treatment, we often see shedding slow down first, before expecting an improvement in density.

Your doctor and your treatment plan

Dr Srđan Pandurević graduated from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Medicine in 2018, gained his clinical experience at the Clinical Centre of Serbia, and completed research in endocrinology and metabolism in Bologna. During your consultation, we carefully evaluate the cause of your hair loss before deciding on any specific therapy.

Tell us which changes concern you the most. A 5,000 RSD online consultation helps us establish an initial assessment. An in-person examination at 6,000 RSD in Dubljanska 23, Vračar, is required to finalize the decision and perform any procedures. You will leave the clinic with a clear plan. A consultation does not guarantee a prescribed medication in advance.

When to schedule a consultation

A consultation is beneficial if you notice your part widening, thinning at the crown, severe shedding following stress, illness, or childbirth, or if you want to proactively address a family history of hair loss. Tell us what improvements you hope to see. We track your long-term progress using clinic photographs taken under standardized lighting.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and planning a pregnancy significantly restrict your medication options. Blood disorders, active scalp infections, and scarring alopecia are conditions where PRP therapy is generally contraindicated. Using oral minoxidil for hair loss is an off-label prescription that requires close medical monitoring. No single treatment can restore every lost follicle. If a specific therapy is not suitable for you, we will state that clearly and provide a referral if needed.
