Medications we consider
We often recommend topical minoxidil for specific types of hair thinning. Systemic medications, such as finasteride, require careful patient selection and an open discussion about their precise indication status. We do not prescribe them to everyone.
Circumstances that shape your plan
Pregnancy, plans to conceive, breastfeeding, cardiovascular health and your current medications directly influence our choices. Using oral minoxidil for hair growth is an off-label application that requires regular medical supervision. That is why using another person’s prescription is never a safe approach for you.
Tracking your progress
We agree on how to use the therapy, what reactions to expect and when to schedule follow-up appointments. Stopping the treatment abruptly can compromise the results you have achieved. If you experience adverse effects, contact us to adjust the plan instead of changing the dosage on your own.
