Diagnosis guides the treatment
Clinical research largely focuses on using PRP for androgenetic alopecia. It is not a universal cure for scalp infections, scarring alopecia or every temporary episode of hair shedding, which is why an accurate diagnosis comes first.
The procedure and expectations
The doctor draws a small amount of your blood, prepares the plasma in a specific system and carefully injects it into the treatment areas. Protocols can vary, but a higher platelet count or a more expensive kit does not automatically guarantee a better outcome. We assess the results over several months.
Its place in your plan
We may suggest PRP to complement your home care after discussing the available evidence and procedure costs. Possible adverse effects include pain, tenderness, bruising and infection. Blood disorders, regular medications and your current scalp condition always influence the final decision.
